Frustrated by short rows...
I've been knitting some longies to go over the pumpkin's cloth diapers. I found the pattern on ravelry and immediately fell in love the it. http://www.petitepurls.com/Spring10/spring2010_pleapfrog.html I thought, "I could knit those for Charis." But, I have been having a horrible time with the short rows. I followed the directions, but still manage to have holes where the short rows have gone. Part of me wants to give up on the short rows and just knit around, but the other part sees giving up as a failure. I have ripped out the stitches twice and have gone back, but I don't know how many times I can do that.

I am also working on some longies for my little one. I wish I could do what the tutorial says but I only really know one stitch. However, I have found that sometimes my variations end up looking cuter than originally thought. Good luck. I know it will look great.
