Recently, I've enjoyed eating homemade Scottish blackberry jam on my toast in the morning (with my tea of course). Unfortunately, we'll be out SOON. :( The blackberry jam was given out as favors at my cousin Helen's wedding-married on 29th December 2010. She and her husband live in Edinburgh, Scotland. When they were engaged, they went and picked blackberries and made and canned jam. On top of the jam, we pages torn out of an English-French dictionary. (Helen grew up in France.) The favors were one of the most clever and most meaningful I have seen. Thank you Helen and Mike for making and giving us blackberry jam. It was thoroughly enjoyed.
