Homemade Ketchup

Ingredients for Ketchup
Over one week ago, I decided to make Ketchup.  More and more, I like knowing what is in my food.  The less processed, the better.  I am especially tired of many companies putting high fructose corn syrup in their ketchup.

I decided to post the recipe:
6 oz. can of tomato paste
2 Tbsp. vinegar
5 Tbsp. raw sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. sea salt
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 cup water

1. Place all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
2. Stir and bring a a boil.
3. Turn down the heat and simmer for 45-60 minutes.  Or until desired consistency.
4. Place in container and put in refrigerator.
5. Enjoy eating it, especially since you know what's in this ketchup.

My husband LOVES this and has pulled it out of the fridge on 3-4 occasions already!!  This is a keeper.
