Ejok Akuj and Christmas Updates a Few Weeks Late {Gratituesday}

Ejok Akuj.  Karimojong phrase.  Definition: God is Good.  God provides for all our needs and has given use many wants.  December was an example of where he gave us many of our wants.  I did not need anything that I received, instead I was given many things I wanted.

Drew and I traveled to Pennsylvania on Friday, December 30, 2011 after he got off work.  On Saturday, Charis slept in until about 9:15 AM, allowing me to sleep in!!  We went to Drew's aunt's house to celebrate with the extended family.  Then went to Drew's parents house and exchanged gifts with his sister and her husband and his parents.

The Kenmore.  I do not have a
picture of my new sewing machine.
I received a sewing machine from Drew's mom!!  I had been wanting to get one for so long.  Unfortunately, I had bought one the week before.  I've been going on Craigslist looking at sewing machines and saw an old Kenmore sewing machine.  The same one my mum has and am familiar with it and the owner was asking for $25.  Imagine my surprise when I opened up a sewing machine.

Our parents gave Drew and I a blue ray player.  We only had VHS, and Drew's parents gave us a blue ray player.  I think our parents need to communicate in the future.  Note: They do communicate, but didn't communicate what gifts they were getting.

Drew gave me a Washington D.C. Starbucks mug and Keith and Kristyn Getty's Joy: An Irish Christmas Album.  I casually mentioned I wanted this CD ages ago when I was listening to an Alistair Begg sermon.  I am blessed to have a husband who listens to me and loves me, so that a few months go by, and recalls what I wanted.
