Longies and CS Lewis

I am still knitting the longies for my nephew, but they should be finished before the week is over.  I think I'll lanolize them before mailing them to Pennsylvania.  A few thoughts have gone through my mind as I've been knitting.  I don't remember Charis being small enough to fit in longies this size.  Are newborns really that small?  I'm praying that I'll finish them before he grows out of them.

I've been listening {not reading} to The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite authors, and it's nice to listen to books because I'm able to get more knitting finished.

  1. I love those longies. Adorable. I am always surprised at how small babies are, and then how fast they grow!

  2. I'm reading a CS Lewis book now as well (Surprised by Laughter; actually about him rather than by him) and enjoying it. I loved Dawn Treader!

  3. Narnia... I've never even thought of listening to the books I love so I can knit. What a great idea!

    Blessings, ~Lisa :)

  4. That's because Charis never was as small as a newborn :)
