Saturday Stumbles {Links}

Why I Don't Trust Birth
I was shocked when I read that this was written by a midwife, but at the same time relieved.  She writes, "I trust the One who designed our bodies and this process."  She goes on to write that the world is not perfect and there are times where interventions have to be done.

Laundry Basket Dresser
If somebody wants to build this for me {or teach me}, I'd be very grateful.  It's at this point, I wish Drew had some carpentry skills.

Open Letter from Dr. Joel Beeke
On family worship.

Baked Eggplant Parmesan {GF}
I might make this for a church dinner sometime.  The reason it would be gluten free {GF} is because there are a handful of individuals that are gluten intolerant at church.

  2. The laundry basket dresser is so cool, I wouldn't even have to build the frame, I can just hang the laundry baskets in the gap in between our bathroom sinks... must get to work on this.

    And that $250 food budget... umm... I feel constipated just thinking about all the beans and 22 lbs of flour.

  3. I loved the $250 post on the grocery budget, because I love seeing how others shop and cook!

  4. It is neat seeing how people spend their money... especially since so many people think that eating healthy is only for snobby people with lots of money.

  5. Enjoyed the family worship article and the grocery budget post. I'm inspired to try feeding my family on such a small amount one of these months -- we'll see. :)
