My name is Sarah. I was married August 21, 2009, and on August 18, 2010, my husband and I had an early anniversary present-named Charis. She is a beautiful baby girl and keeps her mummy busy. I enjoy reading, knitting, cooking, baking, walking, breastfeeding, enjoying creation, talking, singing, nursing, writing letters, cloth diapering, plus many more things.

Breastfeeding and Internet Safety
In our society, breasts are over sexualized; at the click of the button, someone can have pornography on their computer screen. Many people don't want to see a mother nurse her baby or toddler in public. We are told we should cover up, go to another room, or just breastfeed at home and give your child a bottle. Breastfeeding is not a sexual act. Breastfeeding is the way God intended for use to feed our babies; Note: I'm not saying parents who give their children formula are bad parents; I believe how a mother feeds her baby is up to her, as long as she has made an educated decision.
I do not have a problem with people posting pictures of babies being breastfed, but I have chosen not to do that. I don't want to offend people {though I think they'd be offended unnecessarily}. I also don't want to have photographs or videos spliced and created into a pornographic video, as with what happened with MaryAnn Sahoury. Pin It

I don't think I have any video of my nursing Judah- and only a few pictures. I don't know that any of them have really been shred on FB. Maybe one. I don't have any pics of my nursing the twins and I so wish I did. It was such a fleeting moment I don't think it occurred to us to document it!
