Philippians 4:4-7 {Gratituesday}

Yesterday, I wrote that I wanted to memorize Philippians 4:4-7 this week.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
A few thoughts about these verses: Sometimes, I get anxious over money, my job, my home, my husband, my daughter, etc.  But instead of being anxious, I am to rejoice in the Lord.  Why should I be anxious in my hardships, when Christ was perfect and suffered so that He would save me.  God is sovereign and when I'm worried about difficulties, I'm showing a lack of faith.  Instead, I should be praying-I would be showing that I believe God is sovereign and be thankful for God's will for what happens in my life.
