15 Tips to Get Through Life {Summer #BlogChallenge}

If you have a child{ren}: Love them, hold them, and spend time with them.  Unplug the computer when they're awake.  My daughter is growing up so quickly; it sometimes seems like it was just yesterday that I told Drew I was pregnant.

If you are married: Love your spouse.  Pray for him/her.  Talk and laugh with him/her.  Seek to build the other up.

If you are single: Don't dwell on the fact you are not married or engaged or don't have a boyfriend.  This is actually something I wish I could write that I did well; instead there were times I sulked that I was not married.  I thought my younger brother is getting married and there's no one.  When will my husband come?  Instead, I should have been focusing on Christ, and what He has done for me.  I should have been trying to build up the church more, instead of focusing on myself.
...And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband.  I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord. ~1 Corinthians 7:35-35
A few fun tips: Knit. Run. Play basketball.

A more serious tip: Read of Bible.  Follow God and keep His commandments.  Just because you do this  tip does not mean things will suddenly be easier; sometimes it's harder.  I am helpless before God; I can do nothing.  It's only because of Christ's death that I am holy and perfect in God's sight.
Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself. ~Acts 2:38-39
What tips do you have?
