Enter Project Pomona. Project Pomona has three sizes:
- Size 1: 3 months-9 months
- Size 2: 9 months-18 months
- Size 3: 18 months-2 T
I was sent a Size 3 to review. My daughter is currently in size 2 T clothes. She's 36 inches tall and has a 12 inch inseam. Upon receiving the jeans, I noticed the material was 98% cotton/2% stretch. I was glad for this because it meant they could fit my daughter a longer time. You can also get jeans with 100% medium weight cotton and 100% light weight cotton.
The second thing I noticed was the waist. Instead of having a center snap and zipper, the front panel folds down. There's a snap on the left and right, and four snaps on both sides that allow you to extend the waist or tighten it.
The last thing I noticed was the leg cuff. If your child is shorter, you can fold up the cuff to show an accent. I was scent the Harvest Burst jeans. As I mentioned before, my daughter's inseam is 12 inches, so the jeans looked more like capri jeans when folded up, which work perfectly for summer.
My daughter wore these jeans over the following diapers: Itti Bitti Tutto, Fuzzibunz perfect size medium, Prefold with Thirsites duo wrap, and a flat diaper pad folded inside a Flip cover. I did not have any issues with fit and recommend these jeans for other cloth diapered babies or toddlers. Charis wearing the jeans to the left.
what a cute pair of jeans and they surely thought of everything for sizing. Why didn't they have things like this when mine were babies? I love the little cuffs
ReplyDeleteLove the sizing options! Very cute!
ReplyDeleteI really love the look and design of these.. haven't tried them but would love to!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of the adjustable waste! I wish they made them in bigger sizes. My niece is 7 and has to wear adjustable waist jeans. The button used to hold the elastic when adjusted rubs her hip and leaves a mark. Jeans like this would be cute and eliminate that problem!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love these pants! I really like the Organic Accents, especially the teal and the light mustard color!
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness, These look fabulous! I just checked out the website and have falling in love with the boy's section. Loving the blue and green cuffs!

ReplyDeleteI love the design of these jeans, especially considering we've bought jeans for our daughter that have gone unused simply because they won't fit over her fluffy bottom! I love the adjustable waist and the adorable fabrics on the legs when they are rolled up. I also love the embroidering that gives them a little something extra. Kudos to fixing the fluffy bottom jean problem!

ReplyDeleteThese jeans are super cute and I love the sizing options. My son is in the 95 percentile in height but only 50 percentile in weight so I really have trouble finding pants to fit him. I think the adjustable waist on these would work great for him.
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute! I would love some for my chunky, fluffy bummed little guy!
