Great Clothes for Breastfeeding {#BFBlogHop}

When I was pregnant with Charis, I started looking into postpartum clothes I could wear that would be good for breastfeeding.  I bought two nursing shirts and disliked them.  I didn't like how both tops showed cleavage, it's snugness at the waist, or the sheerness of both shirts.  I wore them less than 10 times each and ended up giving them to a thrift store.

What ended up working very well was buying two nursing camis from Leading Lady and buying v-neck tops from Target.  I was able to nurse in public very easily with these because I didn't have to worry about showing my belly.

In the winter, I wore cardigans because I would get hot-very quickly and wanted to take a sweater off quickly when needed.

As my daughter got older, I wore a Teething Bling necklace-not only is this useful for teething, but it's also a nice distraction/play piece.

  1. Hadn't heard of the brand teething bling before and had to look it up - I think I am going to buy one of these very soon! I've been holding a teether throughout all of my nursing sessions recently because the little guy is extra bitey lately and this would be easier and better-looking! Thank you!

  2. I've never been able to justify the extra money for "real" nursing tops! And they also seemed like they would actually be harder to stay covered up with if you are bigger chested like me. ~Melissa
