What Toys Do I Remember Playing With As A Child? {Autumn Blog Challenge}

There are many toys I played with-some were imaginary toys, such as playing under the tree pretending we were running away from the orphanage and feeding my siblings cake {AKA mud pies}.

We also played with Duplos and Legos.  Every year we were given a Lego set from our parents for our birthday. My parents still have all of the Duplos and Legos at their house, and I actually put Duplos and Legos on my baby registry when I was pregnant.

And of course, there were Barbie dolls and a Cabbage Patch doll.  All of my Barbie dolls, except one, were given away to a Salvation army thrift store {thankfully}. I kept one because I liked sewing Barbie clothes.  I have no idea where my Cabbage Patch doll went.  The one pictured is Charis's which Grandma bought for her at a thrift store in Maryland.

What toys did you play with as a child?

  2. I have several cabbage patch dolls still around for the kids to play with. We were also big lego fans, still are. I loved "My Little Ponys". I don't like how they've changed so I've given my old ponies to the kids and they very much enjoy them.
