Remember when I posted I was knitting a gift for someone, but really disliked knitting it because of the yarn I was using. Well, after not making ANY progress, I decided to frog the neckwarmer and start over with different yarn Berroco Peruvia Quick yarn. It feels SO MUCH BETTER. I've made more progress on it in one day than I did with the other one over four weeks ago. I enjoyed this on Pinterest:

I have been listening to The Brethren by John Grisham. Every time, I read Grisham I wonder, "Why don't I read him more often?" I'm at the point where the judges have figured out who Al is, and I'll listen to it more in the car today.
How is your Christmas knitting coming?
Have you read Grisham?
What are you reading or knitting this week?

the yarn you is does make such a difference. knitting is too much of a touchy activity to use bad materials. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Cashmere Neckwarmer, hope your camera will be repaired soon to see your version ! :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't really do much for Christmas so I can't answer the first question except to say that I knit gifts all year long.
ReplyDeleteHave read lots of Grisham. Painted House was quite different from his other books. He usually has character to fit just about every stereotype in the world of lawyers, The South, and many times both in the same book. I am waiting for The Racketeer to become available through the library's digital download. I'm down to 62 out of 156 now!
I'm knitting a cowl for my mother and recently finished listening to Ellis Peter's Cadfael: The Leper of St Giles.
Hope you find your charger soon!
