Wife, Mummy, Nurse: Woolzies Dryer Balls {#FluffyXmas}

Woolzies Dryer Balls {#FluffyXmas}

Living in an apartment using coin operated dryers has it's drawbacks.  There used to often be times that I had to put a one or two more quarters in the dryer in order to make sure my clothes were completely.  I had not yet heard of wool dryer balls.  When I first started reading about wool dryer balls, I was skeptical that they could actually reduce drying time.

I was thrilled to discover Woolzies dryer balls.  Woolzies are pure handmade wool dryer balls.  They:
  • Save money
  • Reduce static
  • Are PVC free
  • Natural: They don't contain chemicals like fabric softener.
  • Hypo-allergenic: The wool does not shed or directly touch your skin
  • Save time and energy
  • Are unscented
I have been using Woolzies for over 2 months.  I have not been disappointed. The drying time has decreased; I no longer have to put an extra quarter in when we dry towels.  Plus, they have to bonus of being able to be used to dry cloth diapers.  I was surprised by how quiet they are; I often forgot they were in the dryer.  I would have to hide them from my daughter because she tried to claim them for herself a few times.

Woolzies are able to be purchased for $35.99.

I was sent six Woolzies dryer balls for the purpose of this review.

  4. Thanks for the review- I currently have plastic dryer balls and I don't like the idea of the plastic chemicals on my clothes! Plus, they make a ton of noise. I'd love some of these!

  13. I have a set of these and they really do work. I used to have to wait for my dryer to finish, long after the washer stopped in order to switch clothes... Now, the dryer is done wash before the wash, if that makes any sense LOL

  26. I won some wool dryer balls a few months back, and I've made some too. I love them! They really do reduce static, and drying time. Oh, and I love not buying dryer sheets.

  27. I love these! I haven't been able to afford them yet but I'm not planning on buying new dryer sheets when we run out. I may try to make some out of wool scraps I have around here. I'm sure they won't be as nice though so I hope I win! I love that I can use them in every load including the towels and diapers. With dryer sheets I get static in those loads because I can't use the dryer sheets.
