Living in an apartment using coin operated dryers has it's drawbacks. There used to often be times that I had to put a one or two more quarters in the dryer in order to make sure my clothes were completely. I had not yet heard of wool dryer balls. When I first started reading about wool dryer balls, I was skeptical that they could actually reduce drying time.
I was thrilled to discover Woolzies dryer balls. Woolzies are pure handmade wool dryer balls. They:
- Save money
- Reduce static
- Are PVC free
- Natural: They don't contain chemicals like fabric softener.
- Hypo-allergenic: The wool does not shed or directly touch your skin
- Save time and energy
- Are unscented
I have been using Woolzies for over 2 months. I have not been disappointed. The drying time has decreased; I no longer have to put an extra quarter in when we dry towels. Plus, they have to bonus of being able to be used to dry cloth diapers. I was surprised by how quiet they are; I often forgot they were in the dryer. I would have to hide them from my daughter because she tried to claim them for herself a few times.
Woolzies are able to be purchased for $35.99.

I was sent six Woolzies dryer balls for the purpose of this review.
All opinions are my own, and I was not compensated in any way.
I love how they are PVC free and reduce drying time. The reducing drying time could save me money!
ReplyDeleteI need some more dryer balls. And $36 for 6 is not a bad price. Thanks for the review, I'd never heard of Woolzies before.
ReplyDeleteI'd really like to try some dryer balls to make my laundry drying more efficient.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review- I currently have plastic dryer balls and I don't like the idea of the plastic chemicals on my clothes! Plus, they make a ton of noise. I'd love some of these!
ReplyDeleteI made my own, haven't noticed if they cut down the time or not, but everything does come out fluffier.
ReplyDeleteI have other balls but am dying to try these! I only have 2 and I don't think they are doing much! - Claiborne snyder
ReplyDeleteI have 6 of these and getting more from Santa! I LOVE them!! They have been a life-saver for my super sensitive skin! Thanks for the awesome review!
ReplyDeleteI hated my apartment's dryers! I wish I had known about woolzies back then. I have my own washer & dryer now but I would still love to get some of these
ReplyDeleteI would like to reduce my drying time. It takes over one hour to dry a load of laundry.

ReplyDeleteI have a set of these and they're great!
ReplyDeleteI have a set of these and they really do work. I used to have to wait for my dryer to finish, long after the washer stopped in order to switch clothes... Now, the dryer is done wash before the wash, if that makes any sense LOL
ReplyDeleteI just recently heard of these and your post makes me want to try them even more! I'm planning on cloth diapering my first little one, due in January, and I put woolzies on our baby registry! :) I mean, why not right?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your experience with us all!

ReplyDeleteI love that these cut down and drying time.
ReplyDeleteThese sound interesting. Are they solid wool or are they felted around a core of something? Would like to give them a try for sure!
ReplyDeleteThey are solid wool 100%.

ReplyDeleteohhh sarah this is just what i need.. i have a dryer now.. yay hope i win.. nice laundry.
ReplyDeleteThese look great! I asked for a set for Christmas :) We have a really old dryer (THAT WORKS!) but takes forever to dry things. I'm hoping that these cut down on the drying time!
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of these until the merry fluffy christmas giveaways....neat! I'd like to know more about why wool rather than other dryer balls.
ReplyDeleteI hadnt heard of these until the other day but they sound great!
ReplyDeleteWe have about 5 of them, love them if they are well made :)

ReplyDeleteWould love to try those
ReplyDeleteI won some wool dryer balls a few months back, and I've made some too. I love them! They really do reduce static, and drying time. Oh, and I love not buying dryer sheets.
ReplyDeleteI love these! I haven't been able to afford them yet but I'm not planning on buying new dryer sheets when we run out. I may try to make some out of wool scraps I have around here. I'm sure they won't be as nice though so I hope I win! I love that I can use them in every load including the towels and diapers. With dryer sheets I get static in those loads because I can't use the dryer sheets.
ReplyDeleteI didnt know how they worked so this review was very helpful to me. Now that I know they reduce drying time and static I will consider getting some. We tend to have a problem with static and i'm 'allergic' ;-) to it. Thanks for the review :)
ReplyDeletesoo cool i would love to try them!!!
ReplyDeleteI like dryer balls. Thanks for sharing about Woolzies!
