Comments from a Loving Brother {#BFBlogHop}

Robbie holding Charis.
Breastfeeding can get lots of reactions, some are amusing, others are infuriating.  Thankfully, the comments I received were amusing or encouraging.
My brother and his wife came to visit us, in Maryland, when Charis was 2 and 3 days old.  Robbie desperately wanted to hold Charis and every time I nursed her, he kept popping his head over at me asking, "Are you done yet? I want to hold my niece." "No Robbie, I'm still nursing her, she's a newborn." He eventually held her, but it's one of the humorous things I remember about my first anniversary.
What comments did you get while breastfeeding?

  1. So precious. I don't remember a single negative reaction to nursing. Of course it's been over 15 years since the last time! :)

    God bless you as you raise your beautiful babe.

  2. Aww, that's sweet. My baby sister was much the same and also fascinated since our mother did not breastfeed so it was new to her.
