Banana Bread


Last week, I bought seven bananas and forgot about them.  Yes, that's right, seven.  How I forgot about them, I don't know.  Between Charis and I, we usually eat 2-3 bananas per day.  Last night, I noticed they were brown and mushy, so today we made banana bread, recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book.

I laughed when I read this:
Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely on rack. Wrap; store overnight before slicing.
No, I did not follow any of those directions, within five minutes, I was slicing and eating the first piece.
