I LOVE the age Charis is. To be honest, I've loved every single age. Shortly after she was born, I was told, "Treasure EVERY single age. Don't wish for them to grow out of it, because you can't get it back." Which overall, I have taken to heart.
This evening at family worship, I was reminded why I enjoy her current age.
Drew read Acts 13 tonight. As he read vs. 8-9, "But Elymas the magician (for that is the meaning of his name) opposed them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. But..."
Charis, "But, what happened?"
Drew, "If you let me finish reading it, you will find out."
Curiosity. Wanting to learn. Inquisitiveness. Communication. All these skills are growing by leaps and bounds.
The age of curiosity as they say about children. My baby is 7 months old but already I have to hide my Kindle and phone from him. His favorite object at the moment is a flash light. :)
