Princess Sophia and the Frog {Review}

One of my favorite things to do is read to Charis. Her favorite books stories involve fairy tales and princesses. When I saw Princess Sophia and the Frog by Suzy Liebermann, I decided to check it out.

It's a story about a princess who has many toys but is bored. One day a frog appears. Sophia tells the frog that she wishes she could go to the moon. The frog replies that she needs to kiss him. I must admit that I had negative thoughts, "This is another story where the frog will turn into a human after being kissed." I'm happy to write it was not that predictable. At the end of the story, Sophia learned that happiness does not come from material possessions.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. My daughter enjoyed the bright pictures. The biggest drawback was the font; it was a swirly writing, which I found to be too busy and hard to read.

You can purchase this book on Amazon for your Kindle.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com.
Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally
and believe will be good for my readers.

  6. What a cute little book! I'm moving more and more towards buying baby books for Kindle or Kobo so that they can run on the app in my iPad, too. (And it's actually sort of safer than buying a book. At least the iPad is in a Lifeproof case.)

  7. I love reading to my kids. I haven't read this one. Thanks for sharing. My daughter is only one, but she'll sit down for storytime sometimes.
