Wife, Mummy, Nurse: Quick Slip Cowl {Yarn Along}

Quick Slip Cowl {Yarn Along}

I was in Pennsylvania from Wednesday evening until Tuesday afternoon. My mum is in Northern Ireland, so Charis and I went to go see my dad. While there, I bought three skeins of yarn from my favorite yarn store {Wolf Creek Yarns}-one of the skeins was Berroco Brio.

On the drive home, I started knitting the quick slip cowl. The pattern is SUPER easy and should be finished, but I noticed a glaring mistake staring back at me. Instead of "wyif sl1", I purled a stitch. To me, it's horrible, but is it really that bad? Am I being overly critical?

The question is, am I being overly paranoid about how noticeable it is? Or should I try to fix it?

  1. Wonderful color yarn. I don't think your mistake is noticeable at all, the yarn looks like it has different textures so it blends in.

  4. I don't think anyone would notice the mistake, but if it bothers you can you thread some yarn and stitch over it to replicate the pattern? I bet you could :) It's lovely btw.

  7. I actually think it looks intentional - to add texture! That's me, though :). I like texture.
