I'm still knitting the Brigid socks. I'm at the same point in both socks {further along than this picture shows}. They are slowly coming along.
I'm reading Extravagant Grace by Barb Duguid. So far, I LOVE IT! Which isn't surprising. Her husband is the pastor at the church my parents attend, and she and her husband did our pre-marital counseling. I'm only 80 pages into it, but when I read it, I can't put it down. Charis does not allow me to read it too much when she's awake, but when she's asleep, I need to clean, straighten up, etc.
What are you reading or knitting this week?
Join me at Ginny's Yarn Along.
I so wish I could knit. I have been looking into how to do it on YouTube. I would love to be able to knit a blanket for this baby one day.
ReplyDeleteLove the sock colors. I have not tried socks yet. I do loom knitting.
ReplyDeleteI tried to knit a scarf once. I even took a few 'help' classes while pregnant. It just didn't click. Reading though is my thing. So right now, silly as it is, I'm re-reading Harry Potter. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a find! I am incredibly jealous...too bad I don't know how to knit either :-(
ReplyDeleteI have crocheted hats, scarves, and blankets in the past. I never did get the hang of knitting though. I must admit that I am a little jealous and definitely impressed!
