Wife, Mummy, Nurse: Felted Pumpkin {Yarn Along}

Felted Pumpkin {Yarn Along}

Recently, I wanted to knit something for myself-for my home. I knit a felted pumpkin, though my daughter's been claiming it for herself. Which I tell her, "It's not happening baby girl." Overall I'm happy with the way it turned out. I think I could have stuffed it a little bit more, but it has a unique appearance since it's felted. I did not use a real stem like the pattern called for, instead I knit about a 1-2 inch i cord. Currently, it's sitting on my bookshelf by the pumpkin candle.

I'm still reading Extravagant Grace by Barbara Duguid.

  5. Charming. I should post some photos of the little pumpkins I've been making - they are addictive to make and just too cute. I like the idea of felting them. I cannot do that to mine as the yarn is not wool. Lovely. Always important to sometimes make something for yourself, too.
