I cast off the My striped & slouchy hat I knit last week, but there's no photograph because I still need to block it. Note to self: MUST do that before this weekend.
I started knitting Christina mitts for a Secret Santa handmade gift exchange I'm taking part in; I always have a hard time knowing what handmade items to give someone I don't know. Overall, I'm happy with how they're turning out, but if I knit them again, I'm definitely knitting a thumb gusset. I'm using size 7 needles like the pattern calls for, except for the top ribbing where I'm using size 6 needles instead.
I haven't been doing too much reading lately due to a knitting surge because of Christmas.
What are you knitting or reading?

I prefer a thumb gusset too. The mitts are going to be great, I'm sure they will be welcomed!
