Reading currently nothing, but I'd like to read/listen to The Book Thief, and am also looking for simple, easy ideas of books I can read after Lil' J's birth. I remember reading at least 3 books while nursing Charis her first 4-6 weeks of life. Do you have any good, simple book ideas?
Watching Pride and Prejudice. Of course, it's the one with Colin Firth, or as people who don't like that movie, "Oh, that's the 6 hour version."
Thankful for the next few days. Each day I'm pregnant means more time to spend with Charis before Lil' J is born. Yes, I'm looking forward to his birth, but I'm also treasuring my remaining time with Charis as an "only" child. Only is in quotes because even though Lil' J's not born, I'm still a mother of two, just without the juggling of everything. We've been going to the park a lot more, mainly because the weather is so gorgeous, and I want to get Vitamin D. Thankfully, I have not gotten a sunburn yet. I hope this trend continues.

What I often do at the park. I'll enjoy knitting during my free time, while I still have it. |

In the afternoon/early evening. Charis tried {but failed} to use the monkey bars. |

Lucky you haven't gotten sunburnt yet. I found out the hard way when I was pregnant that yes, you are more likely to get sunburn while pregnant! lol I have baby fever bad lately, but I can totally understand what you mean about enjoying your daughter being an only child for now. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are getting to spend more time with your family. Love the park pics
ReplyDeleteI love that you knit while your daughter plays. I wish you all the best in your pregnancy. I am expecting my first baby July 29th. I will be starting to make freezer meals in June, it's such a smart thing to do :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of freezer meals do you like the best? Need to start that habit!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could knit. I tried. I just can't get it! We been spending alot of time outdoors as well! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned the Colin Firth version is the only Pride and Prejudice movie :)
ReplyDeleteI just finished The Book Thief. It is really good.
I hope you don't get sunburned either!! I started to read Hunger Games but now I can't find it! But have you read that? Maybe you can try that when baby is born :) Soak up your time with Charis... what a beautiful and blessed time! Thank you for linking up with us, Sarah.
