When I breastfed Charis, there were times I was tired of wearing plain, boring bras. I wanted something lacy and sexy. When I saw Hotmilk Lingerie was looking for bloggers to review their bras, I decided to jump at the chance, especially since I'd soon have another baby to breastfeed.
Hotmilk Lingerie was founded by Lisa Ebbing and Ange Sloan. When Lisa was pregnant with her first child, she was not impressed with the maternity lingerie on the market. After teaming up with Ange, they set out to create a sophisticate lingerie brand.
I ultimately decided to get the Dawn-Nursing Bra. When ordering the bra, I found the sizing guide very helpful. Upon getting this bra, I was pleased to find out it...
- Has 100% cotton lining
- Is wire-free, I avoided underwire bras when breastfeeding Charis because I had a bought of mastitis.
- 6 rows of adjusters, which will be nice when my milk comes in and is trying to regulate.
The fit was supportive. Again I highly recommend looking at the bra size guides if you need assistance deciding on your bra size. The downsides: the lacy design shows through some shirts, especially the little bows and the price is $57.95, which, on our budget, is a little steep.
Did you breastfeed? If so, did you buy any sexy bras or stick with the plain bras?
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com.
Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
