Wife, Mummy, Nurse: Today is My "Due" Date {Yarn Along}

Today is My "Due" Date {Yarn Along}

April 30, 2014=My "due" date. For those wondering, Lil' J. is still inside me, and unless something happens today, I will NOT deliver on my "due" date. Honestly, I am fine with this. When I was pregnant with Charis, I was giving her {failed} eviction notices at least a week before my due date with her and still went 8 days past my "due" date. With this pregnancy, I have expected from the beginning that I would deliver about a week "late", which I'm secretly fine with because I'm hoping to do a few more things before Justin is born. I'm hoping next Tuesday or Wednesday, he'll be born, but God has the date of Justin's birth planned.

As much as I want to go to the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival this weekend, I do think it wise that I stay closer to home. We'll see... If I don't go, it will be the first time in 4 years that I have not gone.

Until my gymnast is born, I have been knitting baby clothes and cleaning {last night, I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom floors}. Today, I hope to take 4+ bags to the thrift store, then start to stack the boxes I've packed by the door to be taken down to our storage area in the basement. Charis and I have had many fun times of going to the park; sadly, it's expected to rain all week through Thursday. I had hoped to take her on some walks, but it's a cold rain. I might go to IKEA and walk there.

  1. I was a week early for each child and was glad of it! Good luck with today :) The rain has been nutty here as well. Love your knit and the pop of white that is striping!

  2. Praying for you and a safe and healthy delivery, Sarah! How exciting. You sound like you're nesting... If I lived back east, I would join you for a walk at IKEA as I haven't been there in ages and have several items I need to price. :)

  4. You must be so excited, the time is so close. Congratulations mama! Maybe some spicy food and a little dip in a hot tub will help :-)

  5. A new baby, what a delightful gift. Plenty of walking and a warm bath would be my suggestion. Congratulations.
