I'm still knitting The Lighthouse Keeper's Daughter. Normally, I get bored with the stockinette stitch, but these days I should not knit a pattern where I need to pay close attention. During the day when I knit, I'm either interupted by my threenager or my 3 month old. At night, my eyes are wanting to close because I'm tired.
I recently finished listening to
The Racketeer, read my thoughts on it
here.

On Monday night, I started listening to
Lost Kingdom: Hawaii's Last Queen, the Sugar Kings, and America's First Imperial Adventure. I borrowed this from the library since I know almost nothing about Hawaii's monarchy, other than they used to have one. So far I have learned more about Hawaii than I knew before {which was not much}, and from what I've heard so far, I
very much dislike how the United States came to take Hawaii.
I borrowed three knitting books from the library:
60 Quick Knits from America's Yarn Shops,
Mason-Dixon Knitting Outside the Lines, and
Mason-Dixon Knitting.
