Thinking about soup! The weather is cooler. The temps are lower. Yes, I do realize what I wrote is redundant, but I don't care. A few soup recipes I have found that sound delicious are:

The many library books I need to take back to the library ASAP! Please tell me I'm not the only one who should have a library wing named after them. Sadly, I have library fines I need to pay and can not borrow any more books until those fines are paid. So, off to the library they will go.

Reading nothing for myself, other than blogs and a few craft magazines and nursing articles for my continuing education credits that Pennsylvania requires. I plan on looking into William Shakespeare's Star Wars written by Ian Doescher. I am told this trilogy is written in iambic pentameter.

Watching NCIS: Los Angeles Season 5.

Thankful for
The bag of books that were given to us yesterday by a family at church.
The books included The Elements of Style, Frog and Toad Together, The Sneetches, and Harold and His Purple Crayon.

Praying
That God would give wisdom to us as a congregation.
For Drew's dissertation. He had hoped to defend his dissertation in December, but unless a miracle happens, it will be defended after the New Year.
That God will lead us where He wants us with searching for a home and full time job for Drew.

Linking up at Joyful Life.

  5. Soups are wonderful when the weather is chilly. Sometimes libraries have "amnesty" days where you can return late books with no penalty or pay off fines with canned goods near Thanksgiving. Maybe your library will start similar programs. One trick is to keep your list of checked out books on the refrigerator and keep your books in a special tote bag when you are not actually reading them. Mark on your calendar/computer that they are due a day before they are actually due and you may never have overdue books again! Good luck!
