First Christmas gift down... many more to go. This year, I might do Christmas knitting a bit differently. I'm horrible at knitting something for the same people year after year. I plan on knitting something for my children, two nieces, and nephew.
Then, I'm planning to knit something to give to those who did not get a knit gift from me last year: my MIL, two BILs, SIL, father, and sister. The problem is, I have NO clue what to knit for one of my brother-in-laws. Last year, I knit him a dice bag, but hated how it looked, so I never gave it to him. I knit a pair of fingerless gloves for my SIL, and only need to finish the thumb on the glove.
My nephew's gift is finished. It's a fox scarf, knit with Lion Brand's Wool-Ease. For the most part, I followed the pattern. The row count was MAJORLY off. We were instructed to knit 50 rows before decreasing for the head, but I had to knit almost 100 rows until the length was long enough. I wish the designer put how long the scarf is supposed to be. I did not change to a solid color for the face. I wanted my fox to have an orange strip down his face like foxes have on their faces.
