Kitty Hat and Guest Posting #YarnAlong

I started knitting Charis the "Kitty Hat", but I have not gotten very far because caring for my son and nourishing him is more important than knitting. On Halloween, Charis will dress up as Hello Kitty. For Charis's birthday, Aunt Jen and Uncle Robbie gave her a Hello Kitty shirt. I bought Hello Kitty fabric at Jo-Ann Fabric to sew her a skirt, and I'm knitting her a kitty hat. Once the hat is finished, I plan on embroidering eyes and attaching a knit bow on the hat.

I have been enjoying reading Breastfeeding Place. I have written three posts over there:

  1. Are you able to use a sewing machine? Then head over to find out how to make your own breast pads
  2. Do you despise using a breast pump? If so, find three benefits to hand expressing.
  3. Have you ever wondered if you could breastfeed if you have Herpes? I had no clue what the answer would be, so I enjoyed researching to find out what the answer would be.
What are you reading or knitting?

  1. Knitting will always be there. Babies grow up and you can't get that time back. You are very wise. And PS - I hated using the breast pump!
