One of my favorite days is coming up. A day in which I dress up as an animal (making a fool of myself) in exchange for free food.. I'm talking about Chick-fil-A's Cow Appreciation Day.

What is cow appreciation day? It's an annual event that Chick-fil-A has where there customers dress up like cows in exchange for food. Those fully dressed like a cow will get a free meal. If you are fully dressed like a cow, it requires an effort to be dressed like a cow from head to toe. Those partially dressed will get a free entree.

I have gone to Cow Appreciation Day for the last three years with my daughter. On July 4th, I went shopping to buy cow print fabric. I am hoping to sew a pair of shorts for Justin and a skirt for Charis.

If you have a baby or toddler, he can join in the fun as well by wearing a cow print cloth diaper, trainer, and/or legwarmers.

Are you going to Cow Appreciation Day? Will you be going as yourself or wearing a cow costume?

  3. I love Cow Appreciation Day too! When we're in the states in the summertime my whole family dresses up too. Last time I think I wore black and taped white paper spots to our clothes. So much fun.

  6. We love dress up day at Chick-fil-a... but we don't dress up... we just go to see who does. The kids think it's super funny and I can always go for a milkshake.
