Watching War of the Buttons. I remember watching it when I was younger and loving it, and my memory of what it was about was incorrect. I thought it was set in Ireland, but it was set in France during World War 2 (1944). You would think that I would have remembered the who movie was in French.
Reading (listening to) Sense and Sensibility. I confess I have not actually read it. I love Pride and Prejudice, but never opened up Sense and Sensibility.
Knitting the Let's Go Shopping-Market Bag.
How was your 4th of July weekend? What's going on in your life?
Linking up at Choose Happy.
What a great list of projects! Can't wait to see your new bag. Hope you get a restful night of sleep soon!
ReplyDeletei pray that you had a great night of sleep
ReplyDeleteI think the fact that you fall asleep listening to God's word is awesome. That is where we find peace and rest for our souls. What a great way to end your day, resting safely in His arms. Letting Him sing His lullabyes over you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to share your life. I don't think it's sad that the Bible or Psalms helps you calm down and fall asleep, I find it encouraging that you are so comforted you are able to relax and sleep.
ReplyDeleteHow are you feeling about Sense and Sensibility? I would have never made it through the book if it was assigned to me.... but I know many who just love it!

Reading List
That market bag looks so pretty! I've never tried knitting more than a scarf or baby legs, so should definitely put this on my list.
ReplyDeleteFun! I wish I knew how to knit. I have tried and it wasn't very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had a hard time falling asleep...that is one thing I NEVER have a problem with! Enjoyed this little peek into your life ;-)
ReplyDeleteExhausted yes! I usually fall right asleep, but both my husband and I were tossing and turning for hours the other night! :( Isn't it a bummer that it then takes days to catch up?
ReplyDeleteFalling asleep after reading the bible means you found that inner peace needed to relax. :)
ReplyDeleteI think that's a great way to fall asleep - the bible calms you.
ReplyDeleteThank you sooo much for joining my link up last week, Sorry for commenting so late! Thanks again & I Love hearing what you are up to!
