FO: Diamond Cowl #YarnAlong

I finished knitting my first Christmas gift-the Diamond Cowl. It was a very easy pattern. The one minor change I made was casting on 84, instead of 72. I thought 72 stitches would be tighter than I'd want if it was for myself, so I cast on an extra 12 stitches (the repeat is every 12 stitches and was easy to memorize). The pattern was easy, but not too easy. I could watch TV shows while knitting this, and not get lost in the pattern.

  1. It looks lovely, always good to start early on the gifts. A beautiful winter colour.

  2. So pretty. I know I should be thinking of Christmas, but so far haven't been able to bring myself to do so. Good for you. Good for the recipient of this cowl. They will surely love it. :^)

    1. It helped that I was at my parents' house for two weeks and had plenty of eyes to watch my two children.
