Before giving birth to my son, I had grand plans of stash busting. I hoped to knit a pair of rainbow longies for my son, but the pregnancy flew by, and I never cast on those longies. With winter quickly approaching, I put Christmas knitting on the back burner and cast on Lil' J's rainbow longies.

I am about halfway through the right leg. After using the kitchener stitch to divide the legs, I knit four more rows using the  I knit 4 more rows I am knitting 12 rows for each color-red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.

What am I reading? Nursing journals. My PA nursing license needs to be renewed soon, and one of the requirements to renew a Pennsylvania nursing license is
licensees shall be required to attend and complete thirty (30) hours of mandatory continuing education during each two-year license period. Nationally certified education courses shall be considered as creditable, in addition to any other courses the board deems creditable.
The last time I renewed my license, my BSN courses counted for my continuing education requirements, but this time, I need to do them. I usually wait until 2-3 months before my license is supposed to be renewed before starting them (once again that happened), but once I'm reading nursing journals, I think, "I actually enjoy this. Oh, I forgot that. Why do I wait until the last few months to do this? Hopefully, I'll be more on the ball next time (which I say every single time)."

  1. Oooo rainbow longies sound lovely! I admit, I'm not a parent so I had to look up on Ravelry what longies were, and now I know they look dead comfy and rainbow ones will be amazing! Best of luck getting all the reading and education hours in that you need to!
